Ricardo Dom\u00ednguez, propuesto como nuevo presidente de Navantia por la SEPI, en una imagen facilitada por la compa\u00f1\u00eda naval.roberto marotoEl consejo de administraci\u00f3n de la Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) ha nombrado este lunes consejero de Navantia a Ricardo Dom\u00ednguez y le propone como nuevo presidente de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, 100% propiedad de la sociedad estatal, seg\u00fan fuentes empresariales y ha confirmado la SEPI en un comunicado. La elecci\u00f3n de Dom\u00ednguez \u2014sustituir\u00e1 a Bel\u00e9n Gualda, que ha pasado a presidir la SEPI\u2014, director del gabinete de Presidencia de la firma y presente en el comit\u00e9 de direcci\u00f3n, lanza un mensaje de continuidad en la naval. \u201cEs una apuesta por la continuidad en el rumbo emprendido para cumplir el Plan Estrat\u00e9gico\u201d, incide en la nota.Se mantiene as\u00ed el plan estrat\u00e9gico para el lustro 2018-2022, donde destaca el empuj\u00f3n a la carga de trabajo mediante una fuerte pol\u00edtica comercial, la modernizaci\u00f3n de los astilleros situados en Galicia, Andaluc\u00eda y Cartagena utilizando como palanca la transformaci\u00f3n digital y el rejuvenecimiento de la plantilla, as\u00ed como la diversificaci\u00f3n de la actividad de Navantia. En este sentido, por ejemplo, la compa\u00f1\u00eda ya ha entrado en el sector de la e\u00f3lica marina, conocida como offshore. Durante los primeros a\u00f1os de recorrido del plan estrat\u00e9gico, la empresa ha firmado contratos por importe cercano a los 8.000 millones de euros, cumpliendo as\u00ed un 75% de los objetivos vinculados a los grandes programas. La actual cartera de pedidos supera los 8.250 millones.Con este nombramiento, la firma p\u00fablica naval se reorganiza tras la salida de la que era su presidenta solo medio a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de que llegase al cargo. Gualda, que lleg\u00f3 a final de septiembre del a\u00f1o pasado, se ha hecho con la presidencia de la SEPI (dependiente del ministerio de Hacienda), cargo que llevaba vacante desde octubre de 2019, con el aval de su trayectoria en el sector p\u00fablico empresarial, gran parte de la misma vinculada a la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda.Dom\u00ednguez cuenta con un perfil t\u00e9cnico con experiencia en la gesti\u00f3n p\u00fablica y privada, aunque hasta ahora siempre en segundo plano. En la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda fue director general de Industria y Calidad y Promoci\u00f3n Alimentaria, as\u00ed como viceconsejero de Medio Ambiente y Ordenaci\u00f3n del Territorio. En cuanto a su formaci\u00f3n, es ingeniero agr\u00f3nomo por la Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenieros Agr\u00f3nomos y Montes de la Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba y tiene un MBA y un m\u00e1ster en big data aplicado a la direcci\u00f3n y administraci\u00f3n de empresas por la Universidad Nacional de Educaci\u00f3n a Distancia (UNED).Entre las tareas que tiene Navantia a corto plazo se encuentra la correcta ejecuci\u00f3n en Ferrol del programa de las cinco fragatas F-110 para la Armada espa\u00f1ola, la culminaci\u00f3n en Cartagena del programa dise\u00f1ado para el submarino S-80, que se pondr\u00e1 a flote el d\u00eda 22 de este mes, seg\u00fan anunci\u00f3 la ministra de Defensa, Margarita Robles, y contar\u00e1 en el acto con la presencia de Felipe VI. Adem\u00e1s, contin\u00faa con la construcci\u00f3n en la Bah\u00eda de C\u00e1diz de las corbetas encargadas por Arabia Saud\u00ed, el contrato m\u00e1s importante firmado por la compa\u00f1\u00eda con un cliente extranjero. Estos proyectos se consideran esenciales para mantener la carga de trabajo en los diferentes astilleros.Navant\u00eda, empresa p\u00fablica con 4.000 trabajadores que est\u00e1 presente en la Bah\u00eda de C\u00e1diz, R\u00eda de Ferrol y Cartagena, est\u00e1 especializada en la construcci\u00f3n de buques militares con un alto componente tecnol\u00f3gico enfocada al mercado internacional. Sus l\u00edneas de actividad incluyen el dise\u00f1o y fabricaci\u00f3n de sistemas de combate y de mando y control, sistemas integrados de control de plataforma, direcciones de tiro, plantas propulsoras y apoyo al ciclo de vida. Con su apuesta por la diversificaci\u00f3n y las energ\u00edas renovables, se ha convertido adem\u00e1s en un actor relevante en el \u00e1mbito de la e\u00f3lica marina.
