en Estados Unidos, M\u00e9xico y Canad\u00e1\u201d, dijo Mnuchin desde Biarritz, Francia, donde asiste a la cumbre del G7.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<!-- \/1001694\/1x1Desktop --><\/p>\n<p>El titular del Departamento del Tesoro<strong><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\"> no dio m\u00e1s detalles sobre c\u00f3mo espera el Gobierno del presidente <\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">Donald<\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\"> <\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">Trump<\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\"> convencer a los dem\u00f3cratas, quienes controlan la C\u00e1mara de Representantes, para darle el visto bueno al acuerdo comercial.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A finales de julio, se inform\u00f3 que Mnuchin hab\u00eda asegurado en privado a varios colegas que la presidenta de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes, la dem\u00f3crata Nancy Pelosi, le hab\u00eda garantizado que permitir\u00eda un voto sobre el T-MEC antes de octubre.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, un asesor de Pelosi, Drew Hammill, asegur\u00f3 que la legisladora no se hab\u00eda comprometido definitivamente a permitir ning\u00fan voto a favor o en contra del Tratado.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<!-- \/1001694\/IN_MR_DET_3 --><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn los \u00faltimos siete meses, la presidenta <strong><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">(<\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">Pelosi<\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">) ha dejado claro que los dem\u00f3cratas quieren inclinarse hacia el s\u00ed en lo relativo al T-<\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">MEC<\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">, pero debe hacerse frente a sus preocupaciones sobre la implementaci\u00f3n (del pacto), los derechos laborales, los medicamentos con receta y el <\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">medioambiente<\/span><span style=\"background-color:#e67e22;\">\u201d<\/span><\/strong>, indic\u00f3 Hammill.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSer\u00e1 la sustancia (del pacto) lo que determine el momento (del voto)\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El T-MEC fue suscrito el pasado diciembre, pero hasta ahora s\u00f3lo lo ha ratificado M\u00e9xico, y pretende sustituir al actual Tratado de Libre Comercio de Am\u00e9rica del Norte (TLCAN), en vigor desde 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Mnuchin tambi\u00e9n defendi\u00f3 en la entrevista la buena salud de la econom\u00eda estadounidense, y agreg\u00f3 que la incertidumbre comercial se
