El concepto o definici\u00f3n de marketing digital <strong>fue utilizado por primera vez en los a\u00f1os noventa,<\/strong> aunque en ese entonces se refer\u00eda principalmente a hacer publicidad hacia los clientes.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo,\u00a0durante la d\u00e9cada de los 2000 y 2010, con el surgimiento \u00a0de nuevas herramientas sociales y m\u00f3viles ese paradigma se ampli\u00f3. Poco a poco se fue transformando de hacer publicidad al concepto de <strong>crear una experiencia que involucre a los usuarios<\/strong>, de modo que cambie su concepto de lo que es ser cliente de una marca.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Esto ocurri\u00f3 sobre cuando el concepto de web 1.0<\/strong>\u00a0(aquella en la que se publicaban contenidos en la web, pero sin mucha interacci\u00f3n con los usuarios)\u00a0<strong>dio paso a la web 2.0 <\/strong>(generada cuando las redes sociales y las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas de informaci\u00f3n permitieron el intercambio de videos, gr\u00e1ficos, audios, entre muchos otros, as\u00ed como crearon interacci\u00f3n con las marcas).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Este crecimiento de dispositivos para acceder a medios digitales<\/strong>\u00a0ha sido sin duda lo que ha generado un crecimiento exponencial del marketing digital. En 2010\u00a0<strong>en medios digitales se estimaba exist\u00edan 4.5 billones en anuncios en l\u00ednea<\/strong>, con un crecimiento en la contrataci\u00f3n de publicidad en esos medios digitales de 48%.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>El poder de los usuarios de obtener la informaci\u00f3n que necesitara o le interesara<\/strong>\u00a0(a trav\u00e9s de buscadores, redes sociales, mensajer\u00eda, entre muchas otras formas) sin duda transform\u00f3 las formas de llegar a ellos y por lo tanto el marketing digital.<\/p>\n<h2>Tendencias del marketing digital<\/h2>\n<p>Hoy en d\u00eda,\u00a0<strong>el marketing digital como experiencia es el concepto prevalente<\/strong>, por ejemplo al crear publicaciones interesantes para los consumidores a trav\u00e9s del\u00a0<strong>marketing de contenidos<\/strong>, que logra captar su atenci\u00f3n sin vender de forma directa.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n\u00a0<strong>el uso de Big Data<\/strong>, es decir, todos los datos de la interacci\u00f3n con los usuarios con sus sitios, apps y diversas fuentes, es indispensable para el marketing digital.
