O fundo de investimento de capital de risco Kaszek Ventures levantou US$ 600 milh\u00f5es para investir em startups da Am\u00e9rica Latina. Lan\u00e7ado em 2011, o fundo \u00e9 dos mesmos criadores do Mercado Livre, Hernan Kazah e Nicolas Szekasy.<\/p>\n

Segundo informa\u00e7\u00f5es do Valor, o Kaszek Ventures deve dividir o valor levantado em dois fundos distintos. Um, batizado de Kaszek Ventures IV, com US$ 375 milh\u00f5es, ser\u00e1 dedicado a startups em est\u00e1gio inicial e o outro, de US$ 225 milh\u00f5es, chamado de Kaszek Ventures Opportunity I, ter\u00e1 como objetivo investir em empresas que j\u00e1 integram o portf\u00f3lio da companhia.<\/p>\n

As startups nacionais Nubank<\/strong>, QuintoAndar, Gympass, Loggi<\/strong> e Creditas<\/strong> est\u00e3o entre aquelas que j\u00e1 receberam investimentos do Kaszek Ventures.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o TechCrunch<\/em>, o Mercado Livre se tornou uma das startups mais valiosas da Am\u00e9rica Latina. Ao site, Szekasy conta que acredita que o Kaszek Ventures pode identificar outros “Mercados Livres” e encontrar equipes que se destacam e tenham vis\u00f5es ambiciosas com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao mercado. S\u00f3 no ano passado, o Kaszek Ventures investiu quase US$ 2 bilh\u00f5es em startups da Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n

“Nossa miss\u00e3o \u00e9 expandir a inova\u00e7\u00e3o em toda a Am\u00e9rica Latina, estabelecendo parcerias com empreendedores extraordin\u00e1rios que est\u00e3o construindo a pr\u00f3xima gera\u00e7\u00e3o de empresas ic\u00f4nicas e usando tecnologia para transformar positivamente todos os tipos de ind\u00fastrias e mercados”, disse Hernan Kazah, s\u00f3cio-fundador da Kaszek Ventures, em comunicado.<\/p>\n
