O objetivo da medida \u00e9 evitar a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de doen\u00e7as contagiosas, j\u00e1 que esses produtos podem transmitir agentes patog\u00e9nicos.Al\u00e9m da carne e do leite, tamb\u00e9m foram afetados pela medida todos os produtos derivados, como pat\u00eas, enchidos, manteiga ou iogurte.A norma prev\u00ea exce\u00e7\u00f5es, como o leite em p\u00f3 e a comida para beb\u00e9s, o mel e os alimentos especiais para animais dom\u00e9sticos, com um limite de dois quilos por pessoa.Os produtos de pesca (frescos ou preparados) est\u00e3o autorizados, com um limite de at\u00e9 20 quilos por pessoa.
