Hungaroring – Saturday evening fresh news

[ad_1]

Following the end of Saturday’s programme, the parking areas are now empty, traffic flow in the vicinity of the racetrack is normal.

The Saturday programme also attracted large numbers of spectators to the racetrack and, as in the previous days, the police introduced one-way traffic to facilitate departure from the area. After the qualifying session and the other races, spectators were able to leave the parking areas in a continuous flow, no reports of road traffic accidents were received.

During the course of the day, police stopped a 24-year-old Russian man at the Hungaroring racetrack, who is alleged to have stolen clothes from a retail outlet. He was detained by the officers and taken to Gödöllő Police Station where he was questioned by detectives on suspicion of theft and taken into custody, during the period of which a short trial procedure will be initiated.

As the Formula 1 Grand Prix is expected to attract large numbers of spectators, we would ask motorists to drive with extra caution on the approach roads to the racetrack.

Please pay particular attention to hand signals given by police officers directing traffic, drive patiently in accordance with these signals.

Pest County Police asks those intending to travel to the area of the racetrack to check the latest travel information bulletins in advance on the Police website under the tab “Formula 1”.

We wish everyone an accident-free journey!
