One of my favorite ways to start the weekend, even before I got paid to do it, is to poke around the internet and see if anything I’ve been eyeing is on sale. Now, I get to do that for you, too, and since Amazon is the biggest and easiest place to shop, I started there. I combed through all the Lightning Deals, Deals of the Day, and other price drops to find the five absolute best offers the online retail giant has this Saturday. These are things that we’ve either tested in our labs or researched heavily to ensure you are getting not only the best price but the best products. There’s no such thing as a good deal on a bad product, as we like to say.

1. Under $40: An impressive and affordable pair of wireless earbuds
I’m wearing these earbuds as I write this, and let me tell you: They’ve hardly left my ears since I got them during their Prime Day sale. They originally cost $60, but are typically around $50. I scored them for $42, and now you can get them for $2 less, marking the lowest price ever. (I’m totally not mad I spent $2 extra). For something you’re probably going to lose eventually, this is the perfect price point.
These earbuds are so easy to connect to your phone over Bluetooth, they have about 2.5-3 hours of life before you have to pop them in their charging case for at least 15 minutes to re-juice, and the case itself is small and secure. They also stay put, even on a treadmill, though they are a little bulkier (but not heavier) than other, typically much more expensive earbuds that will run you well over $100.

2. Under $150: The coveted Apple Airpods
If you do want to spring for a higher-end model, Apple Airpods are among the best, and they’re $145 on Amazon right now rather than their usual $160. These earbuds are top of the line, especially if you already use an iPhone (but they can sync with Android phones too). In fact our tester was mad that he liked them way more than he thought he would. The newest model touts over 24 hours of listening time, presumably by using the charging case to recharge the earbuds between uses. You can also spring for the ones with the wireless charging case if you’ve already got wireless chargers for your iPhone XR anyway, but it’ll cost you $180 (a $20 discount from its original price!).

3. Save 15%: The best affordable mattress in a box
There are plenty of cheap mattresses out there, but you get what you pay for, so I suggest going with a mattress from Tuft & Needle, since we named them the best affordable mattress in a box. The tester said the T&N mattress she slept on for over a month to test it was surprisingly comfortable, given the price point.
Right now, you can save 15% on select T&N mattresses, including twin, twin XL, full, and king-sized models. In fact, the only size not on sale is the queen. You can get a mattress starting at $300 thanks to this deal, which we’re confident will match the savings you’l find on Labor Day—and you don’t have to wait three more weeks to start sleeping better!

4. Under $10: This insanely popular charcoal toothpaste
Remember a few years ago when people were putting charcoal in everything, from smoothies to ice cream and even toothpaste? While the macabre trend of turning weird things black has since faded away, people are still really obsessed with charcoal toothpaste, and this insanely popular brand has a toothpaste that is on sale for just $7 right now, down from its usual $10. Their jar of whitening charcoal powder has over 20k positive reviews, and this stuff has over 600—plus it’s mint flavored.
While it looks absolutely disgusting when you use it, the abrasive nature of the stuff promises to help whiten and brighten your smile. I am personally very skeptical and cannot urge you enough to ask your dentist if it’s OK for your teeth (everyone’s different) before you use it. But as long as your teeth are in good shape, why not give it a try?

5. Under $25: A super popular comforter
Fall is just around the corner, and if you love to snuggle up under a cozy blanket when the air turns crisp, why not treat yourself to a brand new one? While you can wash comforters, it can be a real hassle, especially if you don’t have laundry units at home. Plus, blankets fill up with dead skin cells, dust mites, and other sorts of gross. This one from Utopia Bedding, one I’ve purchased before and found to be very nice for the price point, is only $25 right now, down from its usual $30. Between me and nearly 3,300 happy reviewers, you can trust you’ll love this comforter.
