The U.S. is “looking at” banning TikTok and other Chinese social media apps, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Monday. TikTok will also exit the Hong Kong market within days, a spokesman told Reuters, as other technology companies including Facebook have suspended processing government requests for user data in the region.
